Why M1 Fit

Why coaches pick this over a spreadsheet, a chat app, or a gym platform

Six honest reasons — and a straight answer on where each alternative is genuinely better.

Built around the actual failure

Most coaching tools are workout builders with messaging bolted on. M1 Fit was built to fix one specific thing: plans going to the wrong client because a chat app has no member record. Every screen is organised around the member, not the conversation.

A worklist, not an inbox

The check-in queue tells you who is waiting on you and who has gone quiet. You finish the list and you are done. That is a fundamentally different daily experience from scrolling a chat trying to remember who you have replied to.

Honest defaults

The calorie calculator refuses to suggest a dangerous deficit. A lapsed subscription never locks you out of your clients’ records. Assigning a plan cleans up the old one. Small decisions, but they are the difference between software that helps and software you have to police.

Priced for a solo coach

You pay for the number of active members you actually coach, and a finished client you mark as ended frees the slot. No per-seat surprises, no enterprise minimum, no annual lock-in required.

Made in the UAE, for this market

Built in Abu Dhabi by Momentum Tech, who run production software for gyms, cafés, facilities and HR teams across the Gulf. Currencies, timezones and the working week are set up for how the region actually operates.

You can talk to the people who built it

Not a support queue in another timezone. Message the team on WhatsApp and you reach the people who wrote the code.

The last three rows are real advantages of what you use today. WhatsApp’s biggest strength is that your clients are already in it — which is exactly why M1 Fit does not try to replace the relationship, only the filing cabinet.

Being straight with you

Where M1 Fit is not the right answer

You run a gym floor, not online coaching. If you need class timetables, door access and membership check-in, this is the wrong shape of tool. M1 Fit is built for one-to-one remote coaching.
You need to take card payments in-app. M1 Fit records what each client bought and whether they paid, but it does not process payments yet. You keep collecting however you do today.
You have fewer than about five clients. If you can hold your whole roster in your head, a notes app is genuinely fine. The value here starts when you cannot.
