Getting started
We create your business, your coach login and your plan. You sign in at
m1fit.coremomentum.tech/login and land on your dashboard.
Before adding anyone, open Settings and set your
currency and timezone. Timezone matters more than it sounds:
it decides what counts as “today” for plans and check-ins. Get it right first and you never
think about it again.
1 · Add your members
Enter each client once: name, contact, height, starting and target weight, goal, activity level, medical notes and allergies. Takes about a minute per person. You can run your entire book from here without a single client ever logging in.
- Members → Add member
- Required: name. Everything else can follow later.
- Worth filling in now: height, date of birth, gender, starting weight,
target weight, activity level and goal — these four drive the calorie calculator.
- Medical notes and allergies appear as a warning banner on the profile,
the check-in and the message thread. Fill them in.
- Check-in day sets which weekday that member reports on. Stagger your
clients across the week so you are not reviewing forty check-ins every Monday.
- The starting weight is written as their first measurement automatically, so the chart
is never empty.
2 · Set their daily targets
Open a member and hit “Apply these targets”. M1 Fit calculates BMR, maintenance and a safe calorie and macro target from their own numbers. Override anything you disagree with — you are the coach.
- Open the member and look at the Daily targets card on the right.
- It shows their BMR, maintenance calories and a suggested intake with a macro split.
- Apply these targets writes them onto the member.
- Edit them by hand at any time from Edit member.
- If the card says it needs more data, add height, date of birth, gender and weight.
The suggestion is capped at a 20% deficit and floored at a safe minimum, so it will never
propose a dangerously low target. It is a starting point for a qualified coach — not medical advice.
3 · Build a plan template
Go to Plans and create a diet or workout plan. Add meals with portions and macros, or exercises with sets, reps, rest and tempo. The day’s calorie and macro totals add up live as you build, so you can see whether the day actually hits the target.
- Plans → choose the Diet or Workout tab → create.
- Pick how many days the plan covers. A 7-day plan maps to real weekdays
(day 1 = Monday, forever). A shorter plan — say a 3-day push/pull/legs — rotates on a
cycle from whatever date you assign it.
- For a diet, add each item with a portion and its calories and macros. The day’s totals
add up live at the top, so you can see whether the day actually hits the target.
- For a workout, add exercises with sets, reps (ranges like 8-12 are fine),
rest, tempo and a link to a form video.
- Copy a day when the week repeats — it replaces the target day entirely.
- Duplicate a whole plan to make a variant without starting over.
4 · Assign it
Tick the members it suits, pick a start date and a number of weeks, and assign. Their previous plan of that type ends automatically. Reuse the same template for every client it fits.
- From the plan: tick the members, set a start date and a number of weeks, assign.
- From a member: use the dropdown on their Assigned plans card.
- Weeks 0 means ongoing with no end date.
- Assigning replaces that member’s current plan of the same type. Nobody
ends up following two contradictory diets.
- Deleting a plan that people are actively on archives it instead — deleting
would take their tick-off history with it.
5 · Give them the app
From a member’s profile, create their portal login. They sign in on their phone and see today’s meals and workout, tick items off, log their weight and message you. Optional — plenty of coaches never switch it on.
- On the member’s profile, use the Portal access card.
- The password is shown once, in the green bar at the top. Copy it then —
it is not stored anywhere readable and cannot be shown again.
- Send them the login link. On a phone, “Add to Home Screen” makes it behave like an app.
- To give a new password, use the same card again.
- Entirely optional — you can run a member’s whole programme without them ever signing in.
6 · Work the check-in queue
Each member has a check-in day. They submit weight, waist, adherence, energy, hunger, sleep and training days. You reply from the queue; the next check-in schedules itself and your reply lands in their thread.
- Check-ins is your worklist, in priority order:
awaiting your reply, due now, missed, upcoming.
- Members submit weight, waist, adherence, energy, hunger, sleep and training days.
- Open one to see their numbers against last week, their recent weigh-ins and how many
plan items they ticked in the last seven days.
- Replying does three things at once: schedules the next check-in a week on, copies your
reply into their message thread, and marks it reviewed.
- A weight given at check-in is filed as a real measurement, so the chart and the check-in
history can never disagree.
- Schedule missing check-ins creates one for any active member who lacks one.
7 · Watch the trend, adjust
The weight chart, progress bars and the “needs attention” list on your dashboard tell you who is moving and who has gone quiet. Adjust the plan, reassign, repeat.
- Log measurements from the member’s profile: weight, body fat, waist, chest, hips, arm, thigh, neck.
- Back-dating is safe — current weight always follows the most recent date,
not the last thing you typed.
- Upload front, side and back photos. Same spot, same light, same time of day.
- The chart plots the trend with a dashed goal line and the total change since the first entry.
- Anyone with no weigh-in for ten days appears under Needs attention on your dashboard.
7b · Messages and voice notes
Every member has one thread. Open it from their profile or from Messages,
where threads are ordered by most recent and unread counts are shown.
- Type a message, or attach a photo.
- Voice note: press Record, speak, then
Stop & send. It uploads and attaches to that member — the first time
you use it the browser will ask for microphone permission.
- Broadcast sends the same message to several members at once, but still as a
separate message in each person’s own thread. No group chat, no cross-talk.
- Their medical notes and allergies sit at the top of the thread, so you see them before you type.
9 · Packages and revenue
- Record what each client bought on their profile: name, amount, start and end date, paid or not.
- Packages ending within a fortnight appear on your dashboard so renewals stop slipping.
- Reports shows collected revenue by month, member results ranked by
weight change, and check-in adherence per client.
M1 Fit records payments; it does not process them. You collect however you do today.
10 · Team and settings
- Settings holds your business name, contact details, currency, timezone and logo.
The logo is what your members see in their portal.
- Add coaches (full access) or staff (everything except settings).
Their password is shown once on creation.
- Deactivate someone rather than deleting them, so their history stays attached to the members they handled.
- Your plan, limits and renewal date are shown at the bottom of Settings.
Tips that save real time
- Stagger check-in days. Spread clients Monday to Sunday instead of reviewing everyone at once.
- Build three or four base templates — a male fat-loss, a female fat-loss, a muscle-gain,
a maintenance — then duplicate and tweak per client rather than starting from blank.
- Use “Copy a day.” Most weeks repeat; do not type Tuesday five times.
- Fill in medical notes even when they seem irrelevant. They surface exactly where you
are about to write a plan.
- Mark finished clients as “ended”, not deleted. Their history stays, and the slot frees up
against your plan limit.
- Check the “Needs attention” card daily. A client who has gone quiet for ten days is the
one about to cancel.
